Shooting Death Of Ulster County Man Under Investigation

PLATTEKILL, NY — Police are investigating the death of a man in Ulster County.

The New York State Police said troopers from the Highland barracks were sent to Campbell Drive Extension in the town of Plattekill for a report of a body outside a residence.

Police said they found a dead 41-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds outside his home.

State police are being assisted in the investigation by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Plattekill Police Department and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
