Top Prize-Winning Take 5 Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley

The winning ticket is worth more than $36,600, according to lottery officials.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A top-prize winning Take 5 ticket for the Jan. 9 evening drawing was purchased in the Hudson Valley.

New York Lottery officials said the ticket, which was worth $36,675.50, was sold at Thrifty Beverage, 187 N. Hamilton St. in Poughkeepsie.

According to the New York Lottery website, the winning numbers for the Jan. 9 evening drawing are 4-26-30-37-39.

To win Take 5's top prize, all five numbers must be correctly chosen.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
