Some Schools Canceling After-School Activities Due To Weather
Possibly worsening road conditions are making some schools districts cut short activities for Monday.
MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Deteriorating road conditions from a winter storm that started moving into the region Sunday have forced some school districts to either delay openings or close completely Monday.
As of 7:15 a.m. Monday, here are the schools that have altered their schedules:
- Beacon: After-school activities cancelled
- Dover: Closed
- Ellenville: Closed
- Fallsburg: Closed
- Hyde Park: Closed
- Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery: After-school activities cancelled
- Kingston: Closed
- Liberty: Closed
- Monticello: Closed
- New Paltz: Closed
- Onteora: Closed
- Pawling: Closed
- Pine Plains: Closed
- Red Hook: Closed
- Rhinebeck: Closed
- Rondout Valley: Closed
- Saugerties: Closed
- Ulster BOCES: Closed
- Wallkill: Closed
- Wappingers: After-school activities cancelled
- Webutuck: Closed
