EMS Worker Cuffed After Attacking Man Over Loud Music In Midtown: NYPD
A first-responder had a violent response to a man blasting tunes in Midtown, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — An off-duty first responder was arrested after smashed a speaker over the head of a man following a dispute over his loud music, police said.
Joshua Rodriguez, 31, an FDNY EMS worker, was arrested and charged with assault and harassment on Thursday evening, according to officials.
Rodriguez had engaged in a dispute with a man who was blasting music from a speaker in Midtown, police said. Officials did not offer an exact location of the incident.

As the argument escalated, Rodriguez then took the man's speaker and struck him in the the head with it, police said.
The victim suffered a cut to his head with substantial bleeding, according to police, and was rushed by on-duty EMS workers to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.
