Crime Report: Man Charged With Drunk Driving Under Leandra's Law

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robert Endlekofer, 52, of Miller Place, was arrested March 5 at 8:51 p.m. in Mt. Sinai and was charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, a felony. Police responded to a call that the driver of a 1991 GMC Sierra pickup truck, with a snow plow attached to the front, was driving erratically. Police stopped him on Mt. Sinai-Coram Road and discovered a 15-year-old child was in the vehicle; according to police, Endlekofer was intoxicated.

Tyler Mendelsohn, 21, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested March 5 in Selden and charged with second-degree forgery, a felony. Police said he forged another person's signature on a check that was made out to himself at First National Bank of Long Island.

Rafael Hernandez, 28, of Selden, was arrested March 7 in Mt. Sinai and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said Hernandez was seated in a vehicle on Chestnut Street and had prescription pills in his possession at 12:15 a.m.

Aysha Ahmad, 18, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested March 9 in Port Jefferson Station and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said she had prescription pills in her possession at 7:12 p.m. at a location on Route 347.

Ksenia Donchenko, 19, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested March 9 in Port Jefferson Station and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said she had prescription pills in her possession at 7:12 p.m. at a location on Route 347. A police spokesperson could not immediately determine whether Donchenko and Ahmad were arrested together.
