- CBS New York has a story on accused thieves who walked out of Ulta Beauty in Commack with $9,000 worth of cologne. The three men are seen on security camera on July 30 with bags of stolen goods. Ulta stores on LI have been targeted 25 times, police say. (CBS New York)
- The Daily Voice tells us a Medford man was charged with a DWI after a crash that also injured a Coram man. At 2 a.m. on Friday in Hauppauge, James Todarello and Nolan Grant, age 57, of Medford, crashed on the westbound Long Island Expressway near Exit 57 in Hauppauge.(Daily Voice)
- Newsday covers a new annual memorial service held in Riverhead to honor victims of sex trafficking. The Suffolk County Anti-Trafficking Initiative Memorial Service remembered the 28 trafficking victims who died since the organization was formed in 2018. (Subscription: Newsday)
