Here are the top three stories today in Miller Place-Rocky Point:

1. Suffolk police are seeking information about a burglary in Stony Brook last week.
   Someone removed the screen from the window of a Hargrove Drive home and went inside between 4 and 5 p.m. on April 22 and stole four long guns, a safe, and assorted jewelry. (Patch)
2. Police are searching for three men who burglarized a self-storage facility in Calverton early Friday morning. Employees saw that 23 units were broken into at a U-Haul Moving & Storage facility on River Road. (Patch)
3. An East Northport couple was rescued from a house fire with the help of neighbors, police, firefighters and a doorbell camera. The Commack Fire Department called it “a miracle beyond miracles.” (Subscription: Newsday)

The Town’s 31st Annual Black History Celebration recognized high school students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. (Facebook)
