News 12 Long Island has the story on a weekend altercation at Harbes Farmstand and Vineyard in Mattituck. 55-year-old Inguna Brigandi, of Huntington, kicked two police officers, tried to grab one of the officer's holstered Taser and bit his arm and police say she was "highly intoxicated." A 22-year-old Medford man was driving a 2005 Honda Civic southbound on Route 112, south of Granny Road, when it struck the man walking in the roadway, whose name has not yet been released. (Patch)
