  1. The cardiologist missing from Kings Park has been found dead. Trevor Verga, 45, was found off Piper Lane in Head of the Harbor over the weekend. He was reported missing on March 20, 12 hours after he spoke to a family member. (News 12)
  2. On Wednesday afternoon a school bus crashed on the Long Island Expressway near Lake Ronkonkoma. The crash shut down carpool lanes in both directions, but no serious injuries were reported. (Subscription: Newsday)
  3. One person was injured in a fire in Mastic on Tuesday evening, Suffolk police said.
    Police responded to a fire at a location on Mastic Boulevard
