Here are the top three stories in Miller Place-Rocky Point today:

1. A 64-year-old Port Jefferson Station man was struck by a car and seriously injured while he was walking on Route 112 on Tuesday night. Mitchell Leventhal was walking in the roadway, just north of Jefferson Avenue in Port Jefferson Station, when he was struck. (Patch)
2. A couple who was planning an April 29 wedding had all their possessions destroyed in a fire in Middle Island on Sunday. The Brides of Long Island helped donate needed wedding items to Amanda Cappiello and her fiancé, Nick Ladalia. (News 12)
3. A man was killed and another injured in a wrong-way crash in Medford. Edward A. Thornlow was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Express Drive South before hitting another vehicle. Thornlow, 54, of Shirley, did not survive. (Patch)
