2 Apprehended By ICE After Report Of Theft At LI Target: PD

ICE apprehended the Manhattan duo, police say.

WESTBURY, NY— Two people were apprehended by ICE after a report of a larceny in progress at a Westbury Target Sunday night, at 7:32 p.m., police said.

According to Nassau County police, officers responded to Target on Corporate Drive at 7:32 p.m. for a report of a larceny in progress. Gustavo Tellez Carillo, 36, and Erika Gomez Moreno, 33, both of New York City, were located; further investigation determined that both were in the United States illegally and were subject to removal proceedings, police said.

Both were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, police said. According to police, they were taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
