The Academy Charter School to Host Back to School Fair
1200 Youngsters and their Families Expected to Attend
The Academy Charter School will host a back to school fair from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 26 at 78 North Franklin Street, Parking Field 5, in Hempstead. Over 1200 youngsters are expected to attend.
The Academy's Cozy Corner, will distribute school supplies, book bags and coats. Boost Mobile will offer free devices and services, while Molloy College will offer cholesterol and blood pressure screenings and test for diabetes and Mercy Hospital will provide information about cancer screening.
The fair will also include- face painting, balloon animals, a giant slide, a bounce house cotton candy, hot dogs, chips and drinks to go.
