Free Mets Tickets When You Donate Blood On Aug. 30
The blood drive will take place at Mineola Community Center from 1 to 7 p.m.
MINEOLA, NY — When you donate blood, you can save a life. But on Tuesday, getting the prick will also land you free Mets tickets.
It all happens when you sign up and participate in the New York Blood Center's blood drive, hosted by state Assemblyman Edward Ra and the Village of Mineola. The blood drive will take place at Mineola Community Center (155 Washington Ave.) from 1 to 7 p.m.
All donors will receive a free pair of Mets tickets, a spokesperson for the New York State Assembly said.
