WESTBURY, NY — Long Island's first indoor flying trapeze school opened in Westbury's Samanea Mall in October.

I.FLY Trapeze celebrated 20 years by welcoming people to its outdoor flying trapeze in Eisenhower Park.

Co-founder Marc Rosamilia said they are excited to have an indoor flying trapeze and aerial arts school.

“Opening this indoor school has been a dream for years,” he said in a release. “After 20 seasons outdoors, we’re thrilled to offer a year-round home for flying, learning, and celebrating what makes circus arts so special: courage, joy, and community.”

Students can explore flying trapeze, aerial skills, as well as other activities, such as juggling, Chinese yoyo, hula hooping, and more. There will be camps, private events, and different classes based on skill level, and programs are offered for ages four and up.

Long Island brothers Marc and Anthony Rosamilia founded I.FLY in 2006 as a seasonal outdoor program.

“This space lets more families experience the joy and personal growth circus arts can bring,” Co-Founder Anthony said. “We’re still the same warm and welcoming I.FLY — now you can join us all year long.”

I.FLY will be hosting a free Holiday Spectacular on Dec. 20 at 7 p.m., consisting of a 30-minute performance by dancers, aerialists, and flying trapeze artists.
