Levy To Join Reelected Troiano, Walsh On Town Council
Levy will fill the seat formerly held by David Adhami.

NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY. — Two well-known faces and one new one will be present when the North Hempstead Town Council begins its next term in January, after Robert Troiano, Dennis Walsh and Yaron Levy won their respective elections Tuesday.
Troiano won 4,003 votes, or 59.39 percent of the vote in the town’s 1st district, dispatching of Republican challenger John E. DiFrisco, who received 2,732 votes, equal to 40.53 percent of the vote, according to the unofficial results from the Nassau County Board of Elections.
For Walsh, reelection in the 3rd district came with 5,269 votes, or 60.45 percent of the vote, in an election where he defeated Democrat Lisa McArdle. McArdle received 3,448 votes, 39.55 percent of the votes cast.

Finally, Levy won David Adhami’s old seat in the 5th district with 7,462 votes. Levy defeated Liza Chafiian, who received 2,945 votes.
Results in the election are unofficial until certified by the County Board of Elections. Further information on all of Tuesday’s elections can be found through the Nassau County Board of Elections and the New York State Board of Elections.
