LIE Eastbound Lanes Will Close Overnight Wed. In Nassau County: DOT

Long Island Expressway work means all eastbound lanes spanning five exits will be closed overnight on Dec. 14.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Overnight lane closures on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) will affect drivers during the overnight hours of Wednesday, Dec. 14.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an advisory that all eastbound lanes of the LIE will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. between exits 37, Willis Ave., and 41, Route 106/107.

Traffic will be detoured onto South Service Road.
