Long Island Nets Visit Westbury Day Camp: PHOTOS
The Long Island Nets recently visited the "Yes We Can" Community Center.

WESTBURY, NY — Members of the Long Island Nets and mascot Dale the Eagle recently visited a summer day camp program in Westbury.
Alton Byrd, vice president of business operations for the team, visited the "Yes We Can" Community Center this month, the Town of North Hempstead said in a news release. The Nets are the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets.
Byrd spoke with the campers about his career, life experiences and the Nets. Dale the Eagle hosted a Fitness and Fun workshop for the campers.
