Mineola Junior Wins Award For "The Medicine Of Music" Photograph

MINEOLA, NY — Mineola High School junior Bridget Cunningham has won the NYS PTA Award of Merit for her photograph, "The Medicine of Music."

Her entry was among 481 of the best statewide to be considered by NYS PTA judges.

NYS PTA, which stands for New York State Parent Teacher Association, is the first state branch of the National Congress. Based in Albany, the organization coordinates children's programs statewide and is represented on state committees and commissions dealing with today's youth.
