Nassau County Bar Association Condemns Trump Executive Orders

"[We] cannot remain silent while the right to free speech, the right to counsel and the right to due process are under attack," NCBA said.

MINEOLA, NY — The Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) is condemning a trio of executive orders by President Trump aimed at law firms.

NCBA President Daniel Russo is calling for each of the executive orders repealed.

The executive orders target three law firms—Covington & Burling, Perkins Coie, and Paul Weiss, Russo said in a statement, by calling for government agencies to "suspend any active security clearances," "terminate any governmental engagement" and "limit [their] access from federal government buildings."
