Teen Behind 9 Mineola-Area Burglaries Has Been Arrested: Police
Eighteen-year-old Richard Morgridge was taken into custody after police determined he was responsible for nearly a dozen burglaries.

MINEOLA, NY β Nassau County police have arrested a man they say is behind a string of burglaries in the Mineola area.
Richard Morgridge, 18, of Brooklyn, was taken into custody after police determined he was responsible for the following burglaries that occurred on Jan. 29 between 12:43 and 4:35 a.m.:
- 12:43 a.m. - Carman Drugs, 570 Westbury Ave., Carle Place
- 1:05 a.m. - Low Cost Manufacturing, 318 Westbury Ave., Carle Place
- 3 a.m. - AAC Convenience, 90 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
- 3:12 a.m. - Mineola Diner, 138 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
- 3:18 a.m. - Bairrada's, 144 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
- 3:35 a.m. - Cornerstone Pub, 288 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
- 3:59 a.m. - Rex Burger, 524 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
- 4:26 a.m. - Executive Cleaners, 118 Herricks Rd., Mineola
- 4:35 a.m. - Brasa Rodizio, 100 Herricks Rd., Mineola
Morgridge has been charged with nine counts of third-degree burglary. He was arraigned last week.
