Voter's Guide: East Williston School Budget, Board Election

Those who reside within the area of East Williston schools will vote on the district's $60,007,663 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.

The proposal calls for a 2.95 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.48 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.

Two candidates are running unopposed for two open seats on the East Williston Board of Education. They are incumbents Robert V. Fallarino, Esq. and Leonard Hirsch, according to Newsday.
