Although players on New City Little League teams starting 2013 season action a week ago, the league today had festivities at Zukor Park in New City to formally welcome players and families to the new season of baseball and softball.

Among those at the festivities were former MLB pitching ace Dwight Gooden and Rockland Boulders standout Bobby Blevins.
