• Clarkstown Awarded $315K USDOT Grant for Traffic Safety Plan (rocklandreport.com) — Clarkstown has secured a $315,000 federal Safe Streets grant to launch its first comprehensive townwide traffic safety study, directly affecting drivers and pedestrians in and around New City. At a New City reorganization meeting, Supervisor George Hoehmann and other Clarkstown officials were ceremonially sworn in, outlining plans to prioritize traffic safety, protect taxpayers, and maintain strong local services.
