Spring Valley Man Drives Drunk With Kids In Car: NYSP

SPRING VALLEY, NY — A man from Rockland County was arrested after being accused of drunken driving with two kids in his car.
The New York State Police said, shortly before 5:30 a.m. Saturday, troopers stopped a vehicle on Interstate 87 in the village of Ardsley for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
The driver of the vehicle — Franklin Agualsaca Caiza, 28, of Spring Valley — was found to be intoxicated while traveling with two children, ages 1 and 4 years old, police said.

He was taken into custody and processed at the Tarrytown barracks.
The children were turned over to a relative.

Police said Agualsaca Caiza’s blood alcohol content was found to be 0.10 percent was charged with driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, a felony, and driving while intoxicated and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanors.
He was turned over to a third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Ardsley Court March 11.
