Winning TAKE-5 Lottery Ticket Sold At Rockland County Shop
One lucky winner in our area will be taking home a top prize from Wednesday's mid-day lottery drawing.

HAVERSTRAW, NY — It's going to be a little harder to keep up with the Joneses this holiday, because one of your neighbors just won a top prize in yesterday's lottery.
The New York Lottery announced a top-prize winning TAKE-5 ticket was sold in Rockland County for Wednesday's mid-day drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Alba Multi Service, located at 18 Main St. in Haverstraw. The ticket is worth $19,072.50 to the person holding the winning numbers.

TAKE-5 numbers are drawn from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The winning numbers on the prize-wining lottery tickets are 02-10-11-15-24. While the overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.77, the odds of winning the jackpot with 5 matching numbers are 1 in 575,757. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
