Cutchogue Man Charged With DWI: Police

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A Cutchogue man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on the North Fork early Saturday, police said.

Oscar Elias Tepas Cruz, 46, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. on Route 48 after a Southold Town police officer saw him driving a 2006 Toyota Camry on Route 48 in Cutchogue, failing to maintain his lane, authorities said.

Tepas Cruz was found to be intoxicated, placed under arrest, charged with DWI, and taken to Southold Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held for arraignment at Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
