Greenport Man Arrested After Extensive Investigation Into Drug Sales In Area: Police

NORTH FORK, NY — A Greenport man was arrested after an extended investigation into drug sales in the area, police said.

According to Southold Town police, on September 24 at 5 a.m., the Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End Drug Task Force, Southold Town police, and the Suffolk County Police Department's narcotics and emergency service unit executed a court-authorized search warrant at 629 Main Street in the Village of Greenport.

Christian A. Davis, 30, was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance; third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance; criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic; criminal possession of a weapon/firearm; and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Davis was arraigned in front of Southold Justice Court Judge Daniel Ross and ordered held pending a future court date, police said.
