August 22 marked 11 heartbreaking years since Kaitlyn Doorhy, a former Mattituck Strawberry Queen, died after being struck by a car while away at college. She was just 20 years old.

In the years since her unthinkable loss, Kaitlyn's legacy of giving back and caring for those in need has lived on through Kait's Angels, a not-for-profit organization organized in her memory to perform good works in the community.
