Man Charged With DWI After North Fork Crash: Police
He veered off the roadway into the median, striking the concrete culvert, police say.

NORTH FORK, NY — A Cutchogue man was arrested Sunday after driving while intoxicated and crashing his vehicle, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the incident took place at 3:29 a.m. on Route 48 in Peconic. Liam McShane, 26, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI after the single-car crash, police said.
McShane was driving a 2025 Ford F-150 and heading westbound on Route 48 when he veered off the roadway into the median, striking the concrete culvert, police said.

McShane was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest, police said.
