Man Charged With Felony DWI After Cutchogue Crash: Police

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A Southold man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a Cutchogue crash Sunday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, the crash took place at 5:32 p.m. on Middle Road. Margarito Lopez-Cano was heading west on Route 48 when he was involved in the crash, police said.

Lopez-Cano was found to be intoxicated, arrested, and charged with aggravated DWI, a felony, police said. He was transported to Southold Town police headquarters for arrest processing, police said.
