Woman Charged With DWI After Mattituck Crash: Police

NORTH FORK, NY — A West Islip woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a Mattituck crash Saturday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Theresa Fucci, 67, was arrested at 11:46 a.m. at the intersection of Main Road and Eugenes Road. Fucci had been involved in an earlier Mattituck crash and left the scene, police said.

Fucci, who performed poorly on field sobriety tests, was placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said.

Fucci was transported to Southold Town police headquarters to be held for arraignment, police said.
