Cream Puff, Pudding Pie And River: Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week
Cream Puff and Pudding Pie are brothers, while River is their best friend. They are 16 weeks old.

NORTHPORT, NY — Brothers Cream Puff and Pudding Pie, and their best friend, River, all 16 weeks old, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
Cream Puff and Pudding Pie were rescued as kittens, found filthy and covered in fleas, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue. They had "such wonderful personalities" and were playful and affectionate, she said.
"They went into a wonderful foster home and became more confident every day and are very silly boys," Wild said. "They have zero sense of personal space and want attention and love. Pudding Pie is a total snuggle bug. Cream Puff is the most outgoing, playing in cardboard boxes, and wrestling with his brother."

They were very happy, but there was room for one more, Wild said.
"While they were safe and loved in their foster home, a sweet young baby kitten was found, alone, crying for help, in the wheel well of a kind lady's car, who immediately helped him," Wild said. "She lives near the Nissequogue River, and so they named him River."

River is timid but so sweet, according to Wild.
"He has the saddest eyes, but is a happy little boy who loves to lay in your lap and will purr like crazy once he gets to know you," she said. "He went to the same foster home as Cream Puff and Pudding Pie, and they became a family. River became braver every day, and does look to Cream Puff and Pudding Pie for confidence."
They were just moved to Petco Huntington, and although the rescue usually only puts two kittens in a habitat, it made an exception for the "amazing trio."
"Although River can be adopted on his own, it would be important for him to have another furry friend in the home," Wild said.
Cream Puff and Pudding Pie are very bonded and must be adopted together.
"However, the real gift would be if we could keep these three together," Wild said. "They have become family and they are just adorable. We know it’s a big ask, but perhaps their miracle is out there!"

They are neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
