Drunken Driver Crashes Car Into Fort Salonga Storefront: Police
The driver crossed oncoming traffic, struck a curb, hedges and a structural pillar on Monday evening, police say.

A woman was arrested for DWI after police say she crashed her vehicle in front of a store in Fort Salonga on Monday evening.
According to authorities, Nitza Pena, 47, of Northport, was driving a 2010 Honda Accord eastbound on Fort Salonga Road when she apparently lost control of her vehicle, crossed oncoming traffic, struck a curb, hedges and a structural pillar in the North Fort Town Plaza shopping center at 5:39 p.m.
Pena was arrested and charged with DWI.

She suffered non-life threatening injuries and there were no injuries to the occupants in the building.
The crash is under investigation.
