Elementary School Students Sing To Air Force On Skype
The Dickinson Avenue Elementary School students thanked servicemen and women with a holiday performance.
Northport,NY— Dickinson Avenue Elementary School students sang to U.S. Air Force servicemen and women in a December 20th live Skype call. The students and teachers dressed in holiday clothes and sang songs including "Frosty the Snowman" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" to member of the 855th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as a way to thank them for their service.
The students helped up signs saying "Thank you for your service" during the singalong session.
“Our mission is one of inspiring hope, kindness and peace as we share our Dickinson Avenue community spirt with our servicemen and women,” Principal Laurie Storch said. “What a great moment for our students to share their voices with the U.S. Air Force.”
