Fire Department Holds Holiday Blood Drive

Northort, NY — The Northport Fire Department will hold a blood drive during a crucial time of the year. The annual drive will be held Thursday, December 26th at the fire department at 204 Main Street. The drive, jointly hosted by the department and New York Blood Center, has seen over 2,000 donations since it was created in 1999.

The drive will be held form 2:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Typically the holiday season sees less donations than other times of the year and so the Northport Fire Department is asking the public for assistance.
