Her father, Bryan DiBartolomeo shared his grief for his beautiful daughter on the public funeral home memorial page: "Ash, my sweet, beautiful daughter. My heart will never be the same without you. A huge part of me is gone and nothing will ever take your place. I'm so sorry I wasn't there in your final moments to protect you and comfort you. I would endure an eternity of pain if it meant you would still be here. I would give anything for you."
He added: "Ash, you were an amazing woman, sister, cousin, and daughter. Saying I am proud of you is an understatement. Seeing all the things you accomplished on your own made my eyes light up every time I looked at you. I love you so much. And the love you gave me can never be forgotten.
"From your thoughtful letters that made me cry, to getting dirty working on the cars with me. Please know every moment has been cherished. I never got to show you all the things I kept that you made, wrote, or drew. I kept everything. I will never forget you, Ash. Daddy loves you."
Her mother Danielle wrote, on the page: "Ashley, my baby girl, you were taken away way too soon. You should be here. Its not fair that I can't hug and hold you. You were an amazing woman and so, so beautiful. You are greatly missed and a piece of my soul will always be missing. I miss you so, so much sweetheart."
On social media, a relative of DiBartolomeo wrote: "It would mean so much to our family if any riders who are available could come to honor Ashley — by lining up their bikes outside the funeral home or joining us to pay respects. Even if you did not know her personally, the presence of the riding community would be a powerful tribute to a young biker gone too soon. Thank you so much for your time, love, and support. Ride free forever, Ashley."
