Hitting the Pavement to Talk about the Boston Bombing
Church members offer open arms for Northporters struggling with tragedy.

Danny Litterini said he could see the fear in people's eyes when news of the Boston Marathon bombing reached New Yorkers.
"It brought back some memories," said Litterini, an electrician from East Northport who was supposed to be working at the World Trade Center on 9-11, but was preternaturally rerouted at the last moment. Since then, he's been an evangelical Christian seeking to help others who have trouble coping with such tragedies.
"We're here to meet people's needs with any prayer," he said.
Litterini urged that The Refuge is open to anyone who wants to discuss the Boston Marathon or is having trouble coping. The Refuge is located at 235 Elwood Road in East Northport.
