Man Found Unresponsive In East Northport Pool In Critical Condition

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A man was found unresponsive in his home's swimming pool in East Northport early Saturday, Suffolk police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call on Teaneck Drive after Abudakr Haq, 33, a resident of the home, was found unresponsive in the pool by his wife and a guest of the home at approximately 2:10 a.m., police said. CPR was performed until first responders arrived, police said.

Haq was transported via ambulance to Huntington Hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.
