Northport Grad Critical After Hit and Run

A Northport High School graduate is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Florida early Sunday morning, according to South Tampa-New Hyde Park Patch.

Vincent A. Lanci, 21, was crossing the street when he was hit by an Acrua RL sedan and critically injured. He was in critical condition at an area hospital as of Monday where he was nonresponsive and hooked up to a ventilator, according to a report by 10 News Tampa.

Tampa Police have not yet apprehended the responsible party and are seeking tips.

Lanci graduated from Northport High School in 2009 and is currently attending the John Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa where he is studying for a Masters in Finance. He is slated to graduate in the spring.
