Northport Police Report: Suspended License; Disorderly Conduct
Arrests and incidents reported between May 16 and 22.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Northport Police Department between May 16 and 22. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
- Harol Lopez, 30, Huntington Station was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, circumvention of an interlock device, and use of mobile telephones on May 20. Police allegedly observed Lopez driving southbound on Church Street while using a cell phone. After further investigation, police determined that Lopez did not have a valid driver's license and that it was suspended 12 times. He was also driving without an interlock device as required.
- James Thorsten, 25, of Northport was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on May 22 at 2:50 a.m. after he allegedly yelled and threw things on June Avenue, disturbing the neighbors.
- Police responded to Waterside Road to assist Suffolk Police units searching for a missing teen on May 21 around 1:30 a.m. Northport Police continued searching the area along with multiple SCPD sector cars, aviation and canine units until the subject was located at a friend's house.
- Police responded to Fort Salonga Road for a report of a suspicious incident on May 17 around 1:53 a.m. Upon arrival, the complainant said her dog had been barking from within her home and she is concerned there might be someone outside.
- Police responded to Woodbine Avenue on May 17 for a report of the caller bitten by a rat. Upon arrival, the complainant refused medical attention. There was no apparent injury.
- Police responded to Main Street on May 18 for a report of $300 stolen from the complainant's diaper bag. The complainant said that an unknown person stole the money from a wallet inside the diaper bag. They only took the larger bills and left the singles. A teenage boy was seen soliciting in the building around the time larceny occurred. Police found the teen and determined that he wasn't involved.
