Northport, Elwood Schools Make Weather Decisions

With a major blizzard approaching, Northport-East Northport and Elwood school officials have decided the following.

Elwood Schools will have early dismissal Monday, and are closed Tuesday. From the Elwood school district:

Early Dismissal - January 26, 2015

Today, Monday, January 26, we will have an early dismissal for all schools in the Elwood School District as follows:

High School See below Boyd noon

Middle School 12:45 Harley 1:30 PM Kindergarten cancelled

All afternoon exams for today, other than Regents exams, are cancelled. Please see message below from Dr. Ruck.

Adjusted testing schedules for the high school and middle school for the balance of the week will be forthcoming and dependent on school closings.

All schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27.

All afterschool and evening activities have been canceled for today and tomorrow.

All ElwoodCare programs will be closing today at 4 PM.

2015-2016 Kindergarten registration (1/27-1/29) cancelled and will be rescheduled, please check back for dates.

Northport-East Northport Schools are cancelling all after-school and evening activities Monday, and have closed school on Tuesday.
