Photo: 'Strolling Santa' Spreads Cheer Along Main Street
Northport's own Jolly Saint Nick, in business for 19 years, handed out goodies to kids.
Patch caught up with Northport's own "Strolling Santa" on Thursday as he gave out stuffed animals and candy canes to children along Main Street. Santa is affiliated with Jones Drug Store and The Northport Chamber of Commerce but would like to remain anonymous, as he has done for 19 years.
"We just want to bring a little holiday cheer to the Northport community," he said with a big ho ho ho and a wink as he continued on his merry way.
