Better feed those meters. Northport Police Chief Ric Bruckenthal announced Tuesday that the village has stepped up enforcement of parking meters downtown. The nice spring weather brings additional traffic downtown, said Bruckenthal, and increased enforcement will ensure that no one takes advantage of the limited parking spaces.
