Northport, NY — It's not only academic teachers who can change children's lives, Christine Mulholland of Northport reminds us. This week for our Teacher Shoutout series, Mulholland nominated the dance teacher who's made a big impression on her two daughters: Kim Wager (Miss Kim) at Posey School of Dance.
Miss Kim at Posey School has been one of the best things to happen to both of my girls. She treats her students with such love that they really feel as if they are a part of her extended family. Any student that has had her as an instructor can tell you that she takes her job teaching ballet extremely seriously. She is so invested in each of her students’ development and it really shows in their growth. Both of my girls have chosen dance as their main activity and I really attribute that choice to Miss Kim. Her teaching style values every student, regardless of their ability. She continually brings out the best in both of my children and really fosters a love of dance. Miss Kim always goes the extra mile for her students, and we feel so fortunate to have found her!
