Three Injured in Northport Crash

Women suffer non-life threatening injuries following three car crash Sunday.

Three women were injured in a three-car crash in Northport Sunday afternoon, according to the Northport Fire Department.

The accident occurred when a contractor's Ford van collided with a Chevy Tahoe and a parked Lincoln on Russell Court off Norwood Road around 4:15 p.m. The women were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Northport Fire Department and Rescue responded to the crash, assisted by the East Northport and Kings Park fire departments.

Forty volunteer firefighters and emergency medical personnel were on the scene with four ambulances, an engine, heavy rescue truck, ladder truck and first responder, under the command of Northport FD First Assistant Chief Joe Pansini and Second Assistant Chief Brad Wine.
