Woman Tried To Lure Girl Into Vehicle On Long Island
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, police say.
Police say a woman tried to lure a 9-year-old girl into her vehicle in East Northport on Saturday.
According to authorities, a 9-year-old girl was getting groceries out of a car on Bellecrest Avenue when a woman in a silver or gray SUV tried to get the child into the vehicle at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The girl ran into her home and the woman drove away, police say.
