'Bayminster' Dog Parade And Spring Fair Set For April 28 On Long Island
The event will feature prizes and ribbons will be awarded in categories like Best Dressed, Fan Favorite, and Smallest Dog.
BLUE POINT, NY — The Friends of the Bayport-Blue Point Library are hosting the Bayminster Dog Parade and Spring Fair on April 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The parade will include a contest for Best Dressed, Best Trick, Creative Grooming, Largest Dog, Pet/Human Twin, the Smallest Dog, and Fan Favorite, and will be judged by the audience and ribbons will be awarded.
The regular parade will kick off between 1 to 1:30 p.m.

The parade or rescue dogs will kick off at 3 p.m.
The rain date is May 5.

The organization is still seeking vendors such as artisans, canine suppliers, caregivers, crafters, dog walkers, groomers, overnight sitters, pet art and photographers, pet and medication suppliers, trainers, and veterinarians.
