BELLPORT, NY — Bellport Middle School’s social studies department last week hosted “Bring a Veteran to School," so students could meet local veterans, school district officials said in a ndews release.

During the event, students met with and learned more about local veterans, who visited their classrooms, discussing their time in the military and their lives as civilians.
