Brookhaven Town's 'Home For The Holidays' Offers Free Adoptions At Shelter
The program runs until the end of December.
BROOKHAVEN, NY — Looking for a fur-ever friend to share this holiday season with?
Then check out Brookhaven Town's Animal Shelter and Adoption Center where officials are hosting a "Home for the Holidays” promotion, which is offering free pet adoptions now through the end of December.
Each adoption includes a free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm test, as well as a flea check and other tests. Regular adoption fees are $137 for a dog and $140 for a cat.

The center, which is located at 300 Horseblock Rd. in Brookhaven, is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
