'A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live On Stage' Is Set For Long Island
The beloved boy, Charlie, and his dog, Snoopy, and the "Peanuts" gang will be brought to life with the classic music of Vince Guaraldi.
LONG ISLAND, NY — The beloved "Peanuts" characters, Charlie Brown, his dog, Snoopy, and their gang of friends, Lucy, Linus, and Peppermint Patty, and more will come to life in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Dec. 5.
The all-new live production of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning television special has been charming viewers since it first aired in 1965, featuring the classic Vince Guaraldi music score and the popular comic strip characters by Charles M. Shulz.
Audiences discover the magic of the meaning of Christmas right along with the "Peanuts" gang, live on stage, organizers say. At the end, the audience is also welcome to sing-along while the cast performs a concert of classic holiday songs.
